‘We’re incredibly excited to bring Spurs Legends to Bracknell for what promises to be an unforgettable day. This match is about more than football – it’s about bringing people together to support deaf children and young people who deserve every opportunity to thrive. Every ticket sold will help support DeafKidz International’s vital work in keeping deaf children across the world safe from abuse and exploitation,” he said.

There are 32 million deaf children globally, many of whom experience stigma, isolation, and a lack of support. This not only limits their opportunities but also increases their vulnerability: worldwide, deaf children are three times more likely to be abused than their hearing peers.

For more than ten years, DeafKidz International has been at the forefront of safeguarding deaf children from abuse and neglect around the world. Working with local communities, partners, and families, DeafKidz International addresses the unique protection and wellbeing needs of deaf children. Through innovative educational initiatives—including play-based learning and EdTech solutions—DeafKidz International empowers deaf children, their families, and educators to recognise and reduce risks of physical, sexual, and emotional harm. These vital programmes are currently delivered in South Africa, Zambia, Kenya and India.
