£26,000 Raised at Manchester United Legends vs Worthing Legends Match!
We’re thrilled to share that the Manchester United Legends vs Worthing Legends football match on Sunday 26th March 2023 raised an incredible £26,432 for DeafKidz International!
We were blown away by the success of the event and want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who made the day possible. Not even the rain could dampen the electric atmosphere at a sold-out Woodside Stadium, where thousands of fans turned out to cheer on the legends.
It was a brilliant game, with the Manchester United Legends securing a 5–2 win over the Worthing Legends. The funds raised from ticket sales and the post-match VIP reception will make a real difference to our small charity, helping us continue our vital work safeguarding and protecting deaf children and young people around the world.
We’re incredibly grateful to Worthing Football Club for hosting the event and to all the fantastic players from both Sussex and Manchester United who took to the pitch.
