deafkidz Defenders

DeafKidz Defenders is our flagship programme for the protection of deaf children. At its core is an interactive EdTech game which teaches deaf children protective behaviours via learning through play. This is usually delivered in classroom settings in partnership with deaf schools, or in group settings at community centres. Find out more!

deafkidz goal!

DeafKidz Goal! is a sports-based psycho-social intervention for deaf children. Each session comprises of sports drills that integrate discussions of mental health issues and social issues, derived from curricula from Coaches Across Continents. It is currently being delivered in India with partners Slum Soccer.

Community Ear and Hearing Project

We are part of a team funded by NIHR and led by the Brighton and Sussex Medical School that researches how technology can make sign language and hearing care more accessible.

Hearing Aid Recycling Programme

We receive used hearing aids from audiologists, hospitals and individuals all over the UK. In collaboration with Hearing Aid Recycling UK, we then ship them to our three partner hospitals in Zambia and Malawi.
